DesiFlorida takes reasonable steps to protect accounts, listings, and personal information. This page explains what you can expect from us and how you can help keep the community safe.

2. How we protect the platform

• Connections to the site use encrypted HTTPS
• Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing - we do not store plain-text passwords
• Administrative access is limited to authorized operators
• We review listings and reports for abuse, fraud, and policy violations
• We work with hosting and infrastructure providers that maintain their own security programs

No website can guarantee perfect security. We improve our safeguards over time and respond to credible reports.

3. Your responsibility

• Use a strong, unique password and sign out on shared devices
• Do not share your login credentials
• Verify listings, sellers, landlords, and contacts yourself before sending money or personal documents
• Report suspicious listings, scams, or harassment via our contact page

4. If something goes wrong

If we become aware of a security incident that affects personal information, we will investigate and take steps to reduce harm. Where required by law, including Florida's privacy rules, we will notify affected users as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Report a security issue

Found a vulnerability or security concern? Email sony@desiflorida.com with enough detail for us to reproduce the issue. Please give us reasonable time to investigate and fix it before sharing publicly.
